How often do we let the fear of failure program our subconscious mind to think of nothing but failure? How often do we set really big goals that ends up...
I choose not to be afraid
I choose to be different
I choose not to allow fear lead me anymore.
I choose to work by faith and not by sight
I choose to lead a new life
I choose to do it so someone else can do it better.
I choose to tell my story.
This way of thinking did not just come. I was bruised many times. I failed many times too. Today the story is different. The currency I spend now in the face of fear is FAITH.
I grew up in an environment of fear. I had fears live around me, I had no one to learn from.
It was always, don’t do this, don’t let them know your plans, don’t showcase your dreams, don’t talk about it. Don’t let them see your pictures. We even prayed in Fear. Served God in Fear. Everyone was evil.
My mother built conscience in me, told me not to fight back, told me to lead a right life. But in all of this there was an element of fear in the training. Today many are raised this way.
But as time went I realized that there more; I was very careful of my lanes and tracks, the more it affected the way I related and the more I was getting too secluded.
I was afraid of the female Folks too. If they got me annoyed I would run into my room, shut the door and pick up a book and start reading. Fear was stealing everything from me. The fear was stealing away my people skills abilities.
I ran a business in school and lost over 2.8million, I almost committed suicide. But I met someone who said Failing is good for success.
He said it was like you riding a bike as a kid, when you fall down would you throw the bike and not ride again? He said you will pick it up and ride again.
Life is like riding a bicycle when you fall, you stand up again and continue riding till you master the act.
I had to break away from this way of thinking when I got into the University.
I got involved in doing small businesses which showed me how to care for the needs of others and solve problems.
Today I know better. I am a fighter now. I reach out for my dreams.
YOU can do anything if you cross the barrier of Fear. Fear is False Expectations Appearing Real. Fear makes you limited, Fear puts a cover on you.
